Blue Ox

Problem: The State of Georgia wanted the most eco-friendly washers available for installation in new jails being built within the State. Due to recent drought conditions, they were looking for water conservation as well as energy savings. They also needed a process that sanitizes at least as well as conventional hot water and bleach.

Solution: They ordered their new Unimac high speed hardmount washers with BluOx Modification.

Results: The jail laundries are able to process 50% more pounds per hour due to shorter BluOx wash cycles and average about 1 gallon per pound of processed linen. Energy savings are dramatic and the payback is just a few months.
